Firm and crunchy bamboo shoot slices, with a subtle chewy texture and sweet, slightly sour after taste. Light yellow in colour. Popular for adding a crunchy texture to Asian dishes including stir-fries, or as a vegetable side dish. Canned in water to preserve their quality. Simply drain and rinse under cold water, then serve cold, or add to stir-fried dishes a few minutes before end of cooking.
